there was not much of a genre issue with us during that time period.. we played shows with anyone and everyone.. dillenger escape plan, boy sets fire, world inferno friendship society, converge, worthless united, degenerics... not all on the same show, per se,.. but those were bands we played with on occasion.. plus plenty more.. those were just the names that came to my head at the moment... see y'all in july

amit and shawn are pretty spot on here.
i always consider youandi to be "pre-screamo" (for lack of better term). that is, we were just a hardcore band playing a type of music that took from many sub genres. this was before the fashion explosion of white belts, tight pants and that popular haircut that's all spikey in the back. many of the old flyers sort testify to this. some of my favorite shows were with zegota, endeavor, drop dead, kill the man who questions, mid carson july, the degenerics, converge, dilligner escape plan, etc.
back then we all got exposed to diverse shows on such a regular basis that it was just normal.

Will be there. Pat, ask Torchbearer to play. For those who know him, Steve Larger has been scanning and posting some flyers recently from around that era, and they're pretty nuts.

what am I... chopped liver? Haha I thought about you but also assumed You and I wasn't much of your thing am I really that predictable? I saw them my fair share. I chalk it up to satia. good dudes just playing not my thing very honestly and passionately. they weren't my thing really but I know there were parts of some of the SITW stuff that was at least slightly influenced by their chaotic stuff Sarah the guitar player liked them. I'd rather a band like this play a reunion then let's say a citizens arrest.

I remember being at that show. I went for Turmoil and For The Love Of and came out of that show loving Converge.
