Are any NJ residents (or expatriates) coming down to Damaged City this year? Or are y'all going to No Warning?

I'll be at the second No Warning show for the openers and will probably leave before No Warning. I just can't afford to travel for an out-of-town fest right now which is a shame cuz it's a fun time but at least I get to hang out and see cool bands here?

I wish, I went last year and it ruled. If you go I definitely recommend eating at woodlands bistro.

Trying to come out. Would be awesome since NYRB is playing against DC United that weekend and I could catch a bus with the hooligans.
Only problem is that I have 3 Cock Sparrer tickets for 4/11, anyone wanna buy them?

I've lived there for the past five years. I wouldn't advise moving there unless you'll be making a ton of money. It's a VERY expensive city.

Anyone live in DC? I may relocate there I live in DC and will be at both of the main shows, maybe an after show if i feel like going to bed at 3:30AM. It is pretty expensive, but no more than any other east coast city. you won't get a well located one bedroom apartment for under $1,400 a month, but most people i know live in stuidos or group houses.

Hmm.. okay. Not sure where you looked, but if you haven't totally written off the job, these are some neighborhoods that I think are pretty good for living and public transit options:
Bloomingdale (I live here now) Shaw Logan Circle U Street NW/14th street NW/Cardozo Mt. Pleasant Columbia Heights and Brookland, which I've heard has some cool stuff going in but I'm not sure where Atlas/H Street NE (public transit options a little more limited) Eastern Market

not in the cards this year :'[ rh, do we know each other? I'm from NJ but moved to DC in 2010. I lived in Eckington for a year as well, so I was right around the corner from Bloomingdale.
