i liked nice slice the one time i went there. maybe i caught them on a really good day, or maybe i was grading on a curve because i was so excited to find a place with vegan slice pies at that point in my life.
my contribution to this thread is the place by vintage vinyl. once a year or so i would convince myself that it wasn't as bad as i remembered, and i hated myself for it every time. awful food and they always treat you like a piece of shit if they see you have a bag from the record store.

that's weird. I only went there once and I remember it being alright. we ordered a pie though, instead of getting slices which at some places makes a difference.

I liked Nice Slice, but that's probably because I'm vegan and was stoked to get a broccoli ranch pizza there. I'm also all about experimental pizza so suck it.
Blackbird is a good slice, but the service has been horrible so I usually skip it. Once we waited 15 minutes for a slice because the person at the counter was so high that they burnt it twice. I suppose this is a commentary on the service, not the food, but it's enough to make me not go there anymore.
Ed's on Lancaster Ave in Philly is terrible pizza but it's the only thing open that late near Lava Space after shows, so I routinely go there. Shit is super dry and sort cardboard-ish. In order to eat it I have to shake every spice on it (red pepper flakes, oregano, salt, garlic).
Tata's was unbearable the one time I ordered it. Judging by Gabe's post they haven't gotten much better. It's a bummer. If there was a place in New Brunswick that had good vegan pizza I would probably resort to eating it 5 days a week.

I've sampled a decent chunk of their vegan menu and it definitely has its ups and downs. The Gore and Meat Lovers are both pretty solid options. I think the Mac and Cheese and BBQ chicken were both pretty unfortunate. I get the Meat Lovers semi-regularly (at least when I'm in the mood for garbage food)

I got the fat gore pie and it was terrible. I did, however have a sub from there once and it was half way decent.

Tata's vegan pizza is a great idea, and the gore pie is the perfect combination of toppings. But lets not pretend the execution deserves anything more than a C at its absolute best. C being good enough that I'd never turn it down but I'll never decide to order it on my own.
