So it seems that we're wrapping up this message board's life cycle. I still check it pretty frequently and there's been nothing new for the past couple days. This leads me to ask if there are any other message boards anyone on here posts on. I still lurk vlv occasionally, but theb9 is shit. I don't know if it's only recently become the cesspool that it is or if it's always been like that, but yeah.
And apart from message boards, how do you guys keep up with news of releases and new bands and stuff?

I was just thinking about the same thing earlier today. Its a real shame cause I really enjoyed this board but usually I just use instagram or twitter to keep up with the latest news which is always super annoying because it's social media.

I usually keep up with instagram, sadly, as no boards seem too active. I like following the New Jersey Hardcore page on IG and such. Reddit /r/hardcore isn't too bad, but its really on and off. Some times its just a bunch of nonsense and genre disputes but every once and awhile it is decent.

This board was always slow and kinda dead. I certainly didn't help that problem, but I sure never hung around here for those reasons.
B9 was always a hole. That's already a different side of hardcore from what I typically listen to, but it was never entertaining and all the music threads were cluttered with black metal rookies.
The only board I really keep up with anymore is the one that stemmed from the old Relapse board from a decade ago, but no punks post there anymore anyway so there are never any hardcore threads.
