This is a cool show that I booked. LUPUS is from Bogota, Colombia and is coming for the NYC Latino Punk Fest(who is going?), so they'll be touring around that.
Death Vacation is sweet, more of an HC band from the people that brought you Fox Reactions.
Lupus is a super raw punk band with really melodic guitar leads and an '80s "street" sound!
Warbox is a stompy hardcore band from Western Mass. If you all remember when I brought those bands Crutch and Ratzinger out to Bath haus, this is them.
Led Paint is Li'l Corey's powerviolence band. Very New Brunswick if you ask me.
And Pedro Angel Serrano is hitting us with his spoken word set too. If you've EVER gone to shows in New Brunswick, you know who this is. When I started coming out, he would always be moshing around in Richard NJ's house ass-naked(except his boots). Gay skinhead dude who has been coming out to shows since probably the beginning, do not miss out on this. You will be more enlightened and humbled after he speaks.
As always, doors are at 7, and the show will be over by 10. Bring some cash out for the touring bands. I've been enforcing a $4-8 sliding scale, so if you don't have 5 bucks, bring what you can. If you have extra and feel like throwing it the way of some dudes from Colombia and some dudes from Western Mass who have been touring through NB for years, go ahead. The goodwill won't go unnoticed.
This show is at my punk house, DAS KAPITAL. You probably knew it as The Cooler Ranch with the previous group of tenants.
