Drug Control, formed in early 2014, was set to put San Diego straight edge back on the map. DC’s songs and lyrics are straight to the point and in your face, influenced by acts such as Agnostic Front, Warzone, SSD, and Youth of Today. After a great demo tape on Criminal Rights records and a debut 7″ on STRAIGHT & ALERT recs and COINTOSS recs, they now have a new record on STRAIGHT & ALERT and legendary NEW AGE records. Drug Control Crew, is coming for you.
Safe State was founded in 2015 by Florus, Philippe and Ricky as a side project of each other's bands. Hardcore played loud and fast with an old school touch which has not been an active genre in Switzerland. All Members of the band are playing or used to play in bands such as Coldburn, Cataract, Lions, Keep Talking, Keep Calm. They found themselves musicially very quickly and shows were added within a early age of the band. Stylewise Safe State can be found inbetween old bands like Floorpunch, Ten Yard Fight or Mouthpiece and their own touch of modern hardcore.
